通过纹身,曾经遭受创伤的人得以在安全的空间中逐渐接触到创伤相关的记忆、感觉和情形,慢慢地不再回避 。痛苦、喜悦等各种情绪不断循环往复(Healing Ink, 2016) 。这是一个重新经历、改写创伤的过程,也是一个帮助幸存者们找回力量的过程 。
除此以外,纹好的纹身还是一种能促进人与人之间亲密感的中介 。创伤者会经历孤立的感受,不愿意谈起自己的创伤经历 。但纹身是醒目的,如果有小伙伴说起纹身好看、问起纹身的来历,或许就是可以倾诉的机会,可能给创伤者们带来与身边人建立联结的机会 。
通过艺术将痛苦展现在自己身上,让过往的恐怖成为今后生活的力量,这也是纹身独特的美好吧~
